　　波士頓學(xué)院英語寫作夏校項目是波士頓學(xué)院主辦的英語寫作夏校，主要通過練習(xí)、修改以及向文學(xué)作品和指導(dǎo)老師學(xué)習(xí)，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生熟練的創(chuàng)意寫作能力。學(xué)生將會學(xué)習(xí)兩門課，可選課程有閱讀、短篇小說寫作、詩歌與散文寫作、拿到6個學(xué)分。授課老師有波士頓學(xué)院的專職老師、新聞出版工作者及書刊編輯，有發(fā)表過小說。

　　This selective summer program guides your skilled writing developments through practice and revision. Also, you will learn valuable lessons from literary models, mentors, and peers.

　　申請材料清單：

　　All Applicants must submit

　　A completed online application

　　A $25 application fee (payable by credit card when completing the application or check or money order payable to Boston College. We will not accept cash payments)

　　A copy of your high school transcript including grades from Fall 2016

　　Two letter of recommendations - one from a guidance counselor or principal and one from a high school teacher

　　PSAT, SAT, ACT or other equivalent test scores (unofficial scores are acceptable). If you are a rising junior or international student and have not yet taken these exams, this requirement can be waived. Please contact us if you have any questions.

　　WRITERS IN THE MAKING:

　　One of the two required Letters of recommendation must be from an English teacher specifically addressing creative writing abilities and experience.

　　Writing sample of up to 6 pages of fiction or creative nonfiction, or 4-6 poems of up to 6 pages, or a mix of genres up to 6 pages. The applicant’s first and last name should appear in either the header or footer on each page of the writing sample.

　　Materials must be uploaded to the online application.
