申請美國大學(xué)成績單認(rèn)證早知道！

 何為成績單認(rèn)證?

無論是申請美國大學(xué)本科或者研究生的學(xué)習(xí)，目前越來越多的大學(xué)除了要求申請者提交成績單原件之外，還需要申請者在申請期間或者錄取后在指定的機構(gòu)進行成績單認(rèn)證。認(rèn)證的內(nèi)容包括與美國大學(xué)評分標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的對接，根據(jù)美國大學(xué)通用準(zhǔn)則換算GPA等。這樣很大程度上會方便美國校方對于申請學(xué)生成績單的審理。一般情況下大學(xué)會讓學(xué)生在“NACES” (http://www.NACES.org)任意選擇一家機構(gòu)，也有很多學(xué)校會指定某個機構(gòu)。對于中國學(xué)生最常用到的認(rèn)證機構(gòu)如WES,ECE等。

如何確認(rèn)所申請的大學(xué)是否需要成績單認(rèn)證?

一般情況下大學(xué)會在錄取標(biāo)準(zhǔn)上直接說明。以德雷塞爾大學(xué)(Drexel University)部分專業(yè)的本科生申請與東北大學(xué)(Northeastern University)商學(xué)院的研究生申請要求為例：

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Graduate School of Business Administration ● Graduate School of Professional Accounting

TRANSCRIPTS. Complete an entry for each institution attended after secondary school. Your first entry should be the institution from which you earned your bachelor's degree (or equivalent).

International Students: Please upload an official copy of your transcript below. Any admitted international candidates will be required to submit a certified translation and evaluation of their transcript and diploma along with U.S. grade equivalencies for each course. Two commonly used evaluation and translation agencies are World Educational Services (www.wes.org) and Center for Educational Documentation (www.cedevaluations.com). The certification and translation process can take up to two months and costs approximately $200.

Nursing ACE and Radiologic Technology applicants who have coursework from an institution outside of the United States — except Study Abroad — must have their transcripts evaluated by one of these agencies:?

• World Education Services (WES)?

• International Consultants of Delaware?

• Educational Credential Evaluators

如果大家看到和以上類似的信息就說明學(xué)校需要申請者做成績單的認(rèn)證。一般商學(xué)院研究生的申請需要學(xué)生做成績單認(rèn)證的情況比較多。本科生申請以本科轉(zhuǎn)學(xué)申請為多。另外就是申請MPH的同學(xué)會被要求做SOPHAS的認(rèn)證。

由于有些認(rèn)證需要先在中國教育認(rèn)證，這樣整套認(rèn)證下來至少需要8周左右。建議學(xué)生如果申請的大學(xué)有需要認(rèn)證的一定要早做準(zhǔn)備，以免因為認(rèn)證沒有及時送到而耽誤了申請。
