雅思考試目前廣為世界各國政府、院校機構認可。在全世界有120多個國家和地區(qū)舉行，是世界上增長最快的國家。雅思在美國也同樣被廣泛認可。在此，英國大使館文化教育處提供了，最受國際學生歡迎的19所美國院校雅思分數(shù)要求。此排名源自Open Doors公布的最受國際學生歡迎美國院校排名，數(shù)據更新于2013年5月。統(tǒng)計顯示，19所最受國際學生歡迎的美國院校當中，全部院校的本科課程和研究生課程接受雅思成績的申請。
