2012年教育部認可美國大學名單——Tennessee 田納西州

 2012年2月7日，教育部教育涉外監(jiān)管信息網再次更新認可留學國家院校名單，目前為第二十三版，此次主要更新了美國等國家的學校名單。教育部通過教育部教育涉外監(jiān)管信息網(www.jsj.edu.cn)和中國留學網(www.cscse.edu.cn)公布了我國公民主要留學的33個國家1萬多所學校名單，基本涵蓋了各國的正規(guī)高等學校。今后，所公布名單會根據(jù)有關情況定期調整，為幫助自費出國留學人員正確選擇國外學習學校，加強對自費留學中介活動的監(jiān)管，引導自費留學中介機構與國外正規(guī)學校開展合作。

據(jù)了解，美國高等院校包括公立與私立兩種，主要實行二年學制或四年學制。二年制的多為技術?？茖W校和社區(qū)學院。目前美國各類高等院校有3600多所。美國高等院校的質量認證一般由專業(yè)認證機構負責，經美國教育部認可的認證機構主要有六大區(qū)域認證機構及近百個專業(yè)認證機構。聯(lián)邦政府通過認證機構間接起到對各院校的管理與規(guī)范。全美高等教育認證委員會（CHEA）是協(xié)調并審核認證機構的專業(yè)機構。 通過區(qū)域性認證協(xié)會或其它專業(yè)認證機構的認證，各院?？蓪崿F(xiàn)學分相互轉換，所頒發(fā)的學位證書或文憑證書能獲得社會的廣泛認可。
