斯普林賽德板栗山學(xué)院實(shí)驗(yàn)室實(shí)拍

Springside Chestnut Hill Academy的機(jī)器人隊(duì)在2012年FIRST機(jī)器人競賽(FRC)中摘得桂冠，這個(gè)比賽每年有超過4萬名高中生參加。

學(xué)校的音樂藝術(shù)也很不錯(cuò)。

格萊美獎(jiǎng)女歌手Rosanne Cash出生于1955年5月24日，是以為美國創(chuàng)作歌手兼作家行走音樂之路轉(zhuǎn)眼20年已過，這段不算短的樂壇生涯里，Rosanne總計(jì)發(fā)表過11張專輯作品。

Iain Haley Pollock ’00,畢業(yè)于福特學(xué)院英語專業(yè)，并且他取得了雪城大學(xué)藝術(shù)碩士學(xué)位?，F(xiàn)在是Springside Chestnut Hill Academy的英語老師，同時(shí)他的作品常常出現(xiàn)在雙月刊《美國詩歌評論》、《波士頓評論》等文學(xué)刊物中。他也是2010年科尼姆詩歌獎(jiǎng)的獲得者。

2011年12月8日， Springside Chestunut Hill Academy的戲劇社的小演員們每年上演兩出隆重的劇目，一出是秋季音樂劇，一出是春季競賽類劇目。下圖是由Ms. Gress 執(zhí)導(dǎo)的在12月上演的“Annie,Get Your Gun,”以19世紀(jì)末為背景的音樂劇。

在一年一度的校友論壇上，美國國會(huì)議員Pat Meehan作為特邀發(fā)言人，和學(xué)生們在關(guān)于美國政府的AP課程上共享私人空間，討論國家問題。

Best of Fair at George Washington Carver Science 

Fair (for all Philadelphia students in grades 11 and 12) for the fourth time in the past eight years. 

• As part of the Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership, interested student-applicants are selected to participate in a venture incubator program where they have the opportunity to work on their own 

ventures under the guidance and tutelage of accomplished entrepreneurs and professionals. 

• Since launching a video studio in 2007, SCH students have earned 9 top prizes—for animation, narrative, experimental, and editing—in city-wide media and film festivals.
