Bancroft School創(chuàng)建于1900年，占地30英畝，距今已有100多年的歷史。該校是麻省地區(qū)優(yōu)秀學(xué)校的代表，目前國際生在校14人。
 
 
Bancroft School招收幼兒園到12年級的學(xué)生，在教學(xué)中始終堅(jiān)持學(xué)術(shù)與藝術(shù)自由。在過去的一個(gè)多世紀(jì)里，BancroftSchool目睹了許多變遷，但唯一不變的是把學(xué)生的需要作為教學(xué)工作的核心。
 
目前在校學(xué)生480名，其中高中部有14名國際生，每班人數(shù)在13名左右，師生比1:8.
 
學(xué)校任教教師124人，67%以上擁有高級學(xué)位。
 
學(xué)校學(xué)術(shù)優(yōu)異，2014年AP開設(shè)有17門，大學(xué)升學(xué)率100%。高中部在華盛頓郵報(bào)2013年的America's Most Challenging High Schools排名11位。

Bancroft位于馬薩諸塞州中部第二大城市,歷史名城，伍斯特（Worcester），始建于1668年前后。城市很小但向以生產(chǎn)各種金屬絲、紡織品、玩具、毛毯等著名。學(xué)校距離波士頓51.1英里，車程60分鐘左右。

Bancroft 中學(xué)部把學(xué)生理性思維，藝術(shù)涵養(yǎng)，運(yùn)動(dòng)活力，表達(dá)交際，道德情感教育貫穿教學(xué)始終。每年60%的學(xué)生獲得John Hopkins優(yōu)秀青少年獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金。Bancroft 高中部在中學(xué)理念的基礎(chǔ)上，更進(jìn)一步挖掘?qū)W生各方面潛能，致力于將學(xué)生培養(yǎng)成能適應(yīng)當(dāng)今全球化趨勢的“多功能”現(xiàn)代型人才。

英文語言、英文文學(xué)、計(jì)算機(jī)科學(xué)、法語、拉丁語、西班牙語、美國歷史、歐洲歷史、統(tǒng)計(jì)、微積分、生物、化學(xué)、物理C、工作室藝術(shù)等
學(xué)校提供文理教育，知名校友有普利策獎(jiǎng)得主，生物學(xué)家，慈善家等。
